NextGen Rising™ is SheworxZA™’s University Chapter — a free programme designed for young African women who are just beginning their university journey. You may not yet know what you want to study, or what career path calls to you. You have your whole life ahead of you. You may have a hundred ideas and no idea which one to follow. You may simply know that you want to make a difference — but not yet know how. But that is okay. This time is all about finding your path, making some choices, making some mistakes, learning some learning and getting life experiences. This is how you learn. This is how we all learnt. But you are not alone. You have the whole SheworxZA Network who has your back. Do you need to re-do your CV, prep for a job interview – need some guidance about real-life on-the-job training – so many questions, but who do you turn to? You feel unsure of yourself and think you have no connections. Wrong, you have a Chapter of SheworxZA NextGen Risers or Rising Stars that is an email away. Join up and be part of our Pan African family – and when it is your turn to lead, be that Big Sister Role that was so helpful to you.

NextGen Rising™ is your on-campus home. A community of young women across Africa who are in exactly the same place — curious, ambitious, and figuring it all out together. SheworxZA™ will walk alongside you from your very first year, so that by the time you graduate, you are not stepping into the world alone. You are stepping in as part of a Circle that has had your back from the beginning.
